This weeks learning in room 12

We created bird feeders out of recycled materials so that we could try to care for our environment a little bit more.

 

We collected twigs. To make The plastic bottle feeder we cut out a window of plastic then filled it with seeds. To make the apple bored feeder we declared the apple, stuck seeds into it in a nice pattern and then stuck a twig through it, so that the birds can perch on it whilst they are eating.

 

 

This week was also our assembly which we hope you enjoyed if you managed to come and watch us. Here are a few photos, taken by Harvey and Makenzie.

 

Finally, the talk homework was due in this week. A nerve wracking experience but everyone did really well. Here’s us with our notes after the talks were all over.
