Floating and Sinking

In Science, P6 have been learning about buoyancy (floating and sinking).

We were set a challenge to create a boat which could float and hold as many coins as possible. We were only allowed to use a single piece of tin foil!

Our best design held 37 coins because it had a large surface. We had to make sure that we spread the coins out equally so that the boat was less dense than the water it was displacing.
