2D and 3D shapes

This last couple of weeks we have been working really hard on learning the names of 2D shapes. We have been learning how many sides and corners these shapes have. We have fun making these shapes using pipe cleaners.

This week we have been learning the names of 3D shapes; cylinder, sphere, cube, cuboid, cone and square based pyramid. We have been playing recognition games and matching shapes to their names. We are working hard to remember there names and some properties.
