Learning in room 15

This week we have been leaping into our learning.

We worked in small groups to creat our 3D rainforest layers. We used a variety of modelling materials. We had to use critical thinking, problem solving and team work. After we made them we then evaluated our efforts and provided feedback to other groups.

We also learnt about how to care for a domestic animal: a dog. Mrs Sestayo brought in her dog Leia and we got to find out lots of information and even got to feed her a treat!

We have also been working hard on calculating totals on receipts.

As part of the healthy choices, healthy child campaign we were learning about nutritional information by reading food labels.
