Last week in Room 4

We have been learning to:

• count in fives
• sort objects into groups of fives
• use tally marks to represent amounts
• recognise the ‘wh’ sound, form and write ‘wh’ words, create ‘wh’ whales
• investigate capacity: full, empty and half full
• reocgnise and read numbers and amounts up to 20 and 50
• write in sentences about a picture

We have also been learning about Our Growing World, have a look at our wee topic wall in class. The caterpillars are in their chrysalis and will soon hopefully be turning into beautiful butterflies!
