Marvelous Math in room 15…

We have been incredibly busy during our first week back in term 4. We have been learning strategies to help us with multiplication and division.

We have been learning how to use arrays, repeated addition and equal grouping. We have been focusing on our 2, 3, 5 and 10 times tables. We know that when we multiply by 10 we add a zero. We also learnt a technique for using our fingers to solve 9 x table sums.

It is really important that we practice, practice, practice!
