Investigating light as a source of energy

This week we have been learning about light in class. We know that light is a source of energy which can be natural or artificial. We undertook 3 different activities to explore light. Activity one was using torches to investigate which materials were translucent, transparent and opaque. Our second activity was a light source survey around the school. Our third activity involved exploring different reflective items in sunlight; mirrors, coloured perspex, glass and wax.

We developed our skills in problem solving, critical thinking, team work and reasoning.
