Northern Light’s

In class today we started our topic on ‘The World Around Us’. We located Aberdeen on a map of Europe and spoke about some famous Aberdeen landmarks, famous Aberdonians and we even listened to a song all about the Northern lights of Old Aberdeen. Here is the link if you would like to listen to it-

We discussed places in Scotland where we may see the Northern Lights. Mrs Ross showed us a picture she took of the Northern lights when she was in Shetland and Iceland.

We then created our own Northern lights inspired art work using chalks. We were focusing on shading and tone. We all created unique pieces!
