This week we’ve been learning all about the letter r. We have been trying to form r as well as recognise things that start with r and what r looks like. Some of the children built rockets and some drew ravishing rainbows. We’re still practicing satpin and even created a pig farm for all the p p p p pigs…Prayan was such a respectful and kind friend teaching Aryan and Ali how to form p and also a number six. 🤗

We have also been learning about the number after 5 and before 7… it’s number 6! We have been using number lines to help us find the missing numbers and sequence numbers to 10 correctly. Archie told me he used a question mark because he didn’t know what number came after 8. We figured it out by counting up to 10, but I really liked how Archie was resilient and self motivated here. 🤔⭐️ We also used the shapes to make different numbers and then tried to use a tens frame to count six leaves- sadly the wind kept blowing the children’s work away. ☹️
