Speed, Distance and Time

In Maths we have been learning about speed, distance, time and the relationship between these.

This has linked with the work we have done looking at inspirational women including the sprinted Flo-Jo who still holds world records for her amazing times.

We practised our own sprinting technique and timed ourselves doing a 50m sprint, We then used this to work out our average speed in meters per second.

Ashton was the fastest in the class with a speed of 6.92mps!
