P4 room 13 This Week’s Learning

We had lots of fun on the last week of school. We created some different Christmas crafts. Jesus in a manger, snowman pictures and a tree decoration. We used lots of different materials for these.

 

On Wednesday we worked with a partner to create some winter poems. We tried to use lots of different adjectives. After we read them to the class.

On Thursday we invited Mr Aitken and some people from his church in to listen to some of our Christmas songs and poems. It was a great success and we received lots of lovely comments. Miss Jackson was so proud of her class and how hard they worked!

 

On our last day of school Miss Jackson was invited to watch us perform our gymnastic routines. She thought they were all performed accurately and was impressed with how flexible we all were. With some encouragement Miss Jackson tried out her own gymnastic routine but has some way to go before she is as good as the boys and girls! 😜

In the afternoon P4 got ready for the disco. We all had great fun dancing to lots of songs. Our teacher was very impressed with our behaviour and our dancing skills. It was a VERY hard decision to pick a winner!
