Designing Tartan

For St Andrew’s Day, we learned about tartan and took a look at some of the different types that there is. We then wove paper to create our very own tartans. Over under over under on one strip then under over under over on the next strip. Then, we gave our tartan a name.

There are Some pictures of us in action, weaving away, and also some of the tartans with their names- They look really effective.
