Robert Burns Day

Today was Robert Burns day. We have been learning that he is famous for his poetry and songs. We learnt that people eat haggis, neeps and tatties on his birthday and they even address the haggis!

As Burns day falls in with our Scotland topic we created our own tartans, made Scottish saltires and even had a try if some irn bru and shortbread. We voted at the end on how we thought each tasted!

Sadly, our blog is not working perfectly yet and photos cannot be added but we aim to add them as soon as we can!
