Our final week of term 1

Our final week of term 1 has been very busy.

We have been learning about nouns this week. We went on a noun hunt around the school in groups and found some examples.

We have been learning to create a leaflet ain our taught writing. With Bill, Sarah and Percy off back home we wrote leaflets about owls.

In maths, we have been learning about symmetry. We used a variety of media to create symmetrical patterns.

We had Rhullan Raptors in with some of their falconry birds. We learnt lots about their owls and even saw a perican falcon. We loved watching the Snowy owl fly about! We even got to decorate our own owl ornament to take home.
