Self motivated learners in room 6…

Another busy week for the girls and boys in room 6.

We have been learning about 2d shapes this week and have been busy trying to recognise them by their names and properties.

We were set a challenge by Bill, Percy and Sarah this week. We have been investigating food chains and the parts of an owl too. Lost of us have been interested in certain owls-barn owl, long eared owl, snowy owl and tawny owls. We even headed to the garden to create our own nests.

In phonics we have been focusing on ay, v and w this week. We have been playing games and using playdough to make words with our sounds. Our reading skills focus has been sequencing.

Our RADS sessions with Lee are going well, we are all trying hard to listen to Lee and get the most out of our sessions together.
