Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

This week in room 15 we have been learning about the importance of the 3 R’s and their impact upon our environment and our rainforests. We worked with a learning partner to sort items into the correct recycling bins. We then created posters and have put these around school to remind and highlight the importance of being mindful.

We have been learning to read and write time digitally and on an analogue clock. We are focusing on quarter past and quarter to and converting time. We have also been learning about am and pm and how this links to 12 and 24 hour clocks.

We have also been learning to skim and scan as part of our reading skills focus. We worked with our talk partners to fing out specific information about tribes in Brazil and Peru.
