P6 Room 8 Weekly Update
This week and last week in P6 Room 8, we have been learning to order, round, add and subtract decimal fractions. We have also been identifying and using a range of strategies to help us improve our adding and subtracting skills! This has included engaging in number talks and playing games with our shoulder partners! As part of our writing lessons we have been learning to recall an event and structure our work appropriately in the form of a diary entry. As part of our book study, we have been learning to understand the difference between fact and opinion, as well as, how to answer a range of literal and inferential questions based on the book. We have nearly finished The Boy in the Dress which is very exciting! We have also been experimenting with patterns in art to create a range of different pictures!
