P1/2

We have been really busy in Room 3! We have all been learning new sounds. Our P1’s have been learning a, t, s,  i, p and n. We have been practising forming the letters and recognising them too. Our P2’s have been revising old sounds and have been learning the ay blend.

In Numeracy, our P1’s have been learning to recognise and form numbers 0,1,2,3,4 and 5. Our P2’s have been learning to double and half numbers.

As part of our topic, we have been reading lots of rhyming stories. We have been learning how to rhyme.

We are also learning through our play. We love doing ‘Rainbow Jobs’ in class and refining our fine motor skills.

Remember to keep practising forming your letters and numbers at home P1’s and sounding out words and doubling and halving numbers P2’s. 😊
