Milk Journey

This Week Primary 4 have been learning about the journey of milk from the farm to the shops. We learnt that first cows eat grass and spillage. Then they are milked usually by a machine. After that the milk goes to a factory for milk to go through a process called pasteurisation which takes out any bad bacteria from the milk so it is safe to drink. The milk is then put into bottles and delivered to the shops.
