Term 2

Term 2 was another busy one for us. We were learning lots of new sounds and new common words in Literacy as well as addition, subtraction, fact families, skip counting, greater than and less than and number ordering, matching and counting in our Numeracy learning. We looked at patterns and shapes in Maths too. Our Topic was Celebrations and Festivals so we were busy learning about and exploring Diwali, Halloween, St Andrews Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas and more. Lots of embedding our learning has been done through our independent challenges and play, so have a look at the photos below and talk to your child about what they were up to in these photos.

Of course, it was Christmas too and we had our super fun party and then a special visit from Santa!
