Outdoor learning in Room 3

We have been enjoying the sunshine lots this week in Room 3. Most of our lessons have taken us outdoors. We have been learning the ‘ai’ sound this week in words such as train, rain, chain etc and we have practised our common words too. In maths we have been learning to count in tens, we have worked on our doubles and number bonds to 10 also. The children enjoyed their PE lesson with Mrs Paul-Bird working on their jumping skills including the high jump and long jump too. We have also been lucky enough for all 5 butterflies to emerge this week and enjoyed releasing them in the school garden. It has been a very busy week indeed! Take a look at all the photos below.
