The tricky k

This week in room 5 we have been learning about the ck sound and practising our lower case k which can be very tricky. We did this outside in the lovely autumn sunshine.

Learning about firework safety we shared our knowledge and excellent posters with room 3 and 4. It can be nerve wracking standing in front of others and talking, but you were all awesome! We created amazing masks to celebrate ”dia de los Muertos”. Many of us have watched the Disney film Coco so we could recognise lots of things about the celebration. Today we learned about why we have Bonfire night and who Guy Fawkes was. It was very interesting and some of us were keen to role play what happened.
