Room 7 Place Value

We have been exploring how numbers are constructed using hundreds, tens and units (ones). Today, we went outside to construct 2 and 3 digit numbers using natural materials. We used sticks, stones and leaves to represent each number.

We are now able to identify the values of each digit in numbers up to 100 (P2) and 1000 (P3).
