Our learning this week…

We have been so busy this week in room 5!

We are learning about life cycles and now have our very own caterpillars! We are keeping a close eye on them daily!

We are focusing in class on creating different coin combinations in p1 and P2. Here is a link to a game we have been using on the iPad to help us!

We have been learning about the importance of defences in castles this week. We have been learning about the meanings behind stained glass window designs at Edinburgh Castle. We used different textures to create our own stain glass effect windows. We learnt about how real glass is coloured too!

We have also had some very kind p6 helpers who came in to read some stories to us in Makaton. We really enjoyed it!
