Reading skills 💭🐷🐯🐸🦉🐍

This weeks reading skills focus has been on questioning. We have been revisiting question starters and looking at the difference between a statement and a question. We worked with our talk partners to firstly act out well known characters while our friend asked questions to try and identify who we were. We also played a game of guess who. At the end of these two activities we used a drama technique called hot seating. We used some well known characters from Julia Donaldson and had some people take the hot seat. They had to question us about their identify. We then looked at a Squash and a Squeeze in the afternoon and identified questions we could ask Julia Donaldson in order to find out more information.
