This week’s learning in room13

On Wednesday afternoon we learnt two magic tricks, one with a pencil and one with a coin. We performed these to the class and practised being a good audience member. We gave each other feedback on how we did.

For homework we created our own mimes and made our own hats. We showed these to the class.

On Wednesday a science ambassador visited us and we did some experiments to do with static electricity. First we rubbed the balloon on our clothes and tried to stick it to the wall. Then we cut paper into tiny pieces and watched to see if the paper stuck to the balloon. Our last experiment was when we put the balloon beside the running tap and we noticed the water curved without touching the balloon.
