Floating and sinking

Today we made predictions about whether a variety of objects would sink or float then tested them. We used a wooden peg, a lollipop stick, a coin, a button, a key, a leaf, a stone, a piece of cane and a bottle top.
Then we worked in pairs and used recycled materials to make boats. We will test them to see if they float on Friday. We had fun making them.
