This week in nursery the children have been learning about animals that live on a farm.

They have been exploring the sensory tuff tray trying to work out where each animal would live on the farm, in the pond, on the grass, in the mud, in a pigsty or in a hen house.

The children also were learning about baby animals names that lives on the farm.

A baby horse is called a foal, a baby chicken is called chick, a baby goose is called a gosling, a baby cow is called a calf.
