The beginning of a New Year and a New Term….

We have very busy in class on our first week back at school! We have been straight back in to our learning. This week we have been learning about recycling. We watched a clip showing us how different materials are recycled and then reused. We worked in cooperative learning groups to place a variety of items into the correct recycling bins. We then created posters to show what we had learnt.

Also this week, we have been moving on in our big maths. We are learning to count up in 100’s up to 1000!

We are also learning to double 10, 20, 30 and 40…this is quite tricky! But we are making a great start!
