Anti-Bullying week
This week is anti-bullying week… so this has been the focus of our Health and Wellbeing work.
In pairs, we designed and created bright anti-bullying posters with catchy slogans.
As a class we discussed why people are bullied and why people become bullies. Every one is different and we discussed what makes us different and what makes us the same as our friends. Some children shared how mean words or actions made them feel.
We discussed the three types of bullying- verbal, emotional and physical and what we do if we or someone we know is being bullied. Finally, we thought about the difference between some one who is annoying us a little and someone who is bullying us and we discovered there is a difference.
Then, we completed some jobs on this and tried really hard to think about how we can be a good friend.
