Another weekly update…😊

We have been working so hard in class this week. We have been learning a new phonics sound. This week we have  been learning about ‘ea’ saying ee. We have been learning our sound through roll and write spelling, being phoneme spotter detectives and even making words using play dough. Some of us have been consolidating our initial sounds and decoding cvc words. We have used highlighters to identify the difference between real and nonsense words, played word builder games and even made our own cvc snakes and ladders… it has been fun!

In maths this week we have been consolidating our subtraction from 10, 20 and 30 using a number line. We are continuing to focus on numbers up to 100, doubling and halving and finding the missing peice to 10.
