Calendar Artwork

We have been making our calendars, one step at a time.

We glued small tissue paper squares onto a piece of paper and covered them with more glue to create a shiny finish.

 

Then we painted the paper blue to create a background.

. 

Then, we added green glitter to the bottom to create some grass.

Then, we cut up our gluey-tissue-papered work into triangles and stuck them on to create trees. And finally, we added some gold paper for the tree trunk.

The finished product looks really pretty and the children will be taking them home next week.
