Adding with Pimm

In Big Maths, Room 10 have been adding 2 or 3 digit numbers.

We used Pimm to help us do this. Pimm helps us to add larger numbers by reminding us that if we know our addition learn its we can add these as tens, hundreds and thousands!

E.g. If we know 4 + 3 = 7.we also know 4   hundreds +3 hundreds is 7 hundreds.

This helped us to add once we had partitioned our numbers.
