Primary 2 end of topic celebration of learning!

We can’t believe how fast our first term together in Primary 2 has flown by and what a journey it has been so far. Our Owl Babies topic has captured the children’s imaginations and has provided a wealth of learning opportunities. We have developed our love of reading, focusing on settings, characters and punctuation, as well as becoming owl experts! Leading on from this book study, we would like to develop the children’s reading skills further through a focused reading skills session, in addition to a guided reading session. Please note, that your child may not receive a new guided reading book home each week. However, time will be spent returning to this text in class to build up the skills your child needs to become a confident and fluent reader.
