Our Scotland topic continues…

This week in class we have been learning all about the ‘th’ sound. We came up collectively with a list of 21 words that have the ‘th’ sound! Mrs Ross was so impressed! We were also lucky that our ‘th’ sound is in the word thistle. We have been learning that the thistle is the national flower of Scotland. We created some lovely thistles with wool…do you like them?

We have also been busy in class this week learning about tartan. We have been learning that tartan is often named the same as some peoples surname. We decided to create our own tartan’s. They turned out lovely!
